Sparking curiosity is our mission.

Established in 2010 at the University of Southern California, we're all about bringing the joy of science (and fun) to kids in nearby grade schools.

We visit 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-grade classrooms to get kids amped up about science before their official curriculum starts in 4th grade. Our goal? To show them that science isn't just educational, but loads of fun. Science Outreach hopes to inspire future lifelong learners and science enthusiasts—we believe that the great scientists of tomorrow are sitting in the classrooms of today.

Science Outreach actively serves over 500 students at schools like 32nd St. School, Lenicia B. Weemes Elementary, John W. Mack Elementary, Vermont Elementary School, Alexander Science Center School, and The Accelerated Charter Elementary School. Our work doesn’t stop there! We also organize Outreach sessions at Wilshire Park Elementary School and host our annual Science Fair here at USC.

Who's making it all happen? It’s the dedicated and accomplished USC students who volunteer their time to work with our kids. We're all about building meaningful relationships with the students and schools we collaborate with. When we found out that the

Many of us found our passion for science after seeing cool science demonstrations as kids, and now we hope to keep that passion alive in the next generation. We hope to inspire scientific curiosity in the next generation and show them that science is fun, interesting, and rewarding!

If you would like Science Outreach to come to your school, please contact us at scoutusc@gmail.com. We organize Science Fair, science demonstrations, and more. If you have any questions or special requests, do not hesitate to ask!
